Hello!
My name is Adelien.
My friends call me Ade. I am a mixed media artist from South Africa, now living in Auckland New Zealand.
Immigration was very traumatic for me. I found my way to Mixed media art as a way to heal and deal with my trauma. It has changed my life. A creative practice is healing and life-changing.
This course will take the guesswork out of supply selection for you.
I wasted a lot of time and money buying art supplies that did not layer well when I started 10 years ago. These supplies that I use together now, work in journals and on canvasses. They are light fast and archival[which means I can sell my canvasses and be confident that they won't fade over time.]
Finding layer-able, light-fast, matte drying supplies that made my creative practice fun and easy took a lot of trial and error and time. I am very pleased to share my knowledge with you, to make your process easier. To take the guesswork out of buying supplies.
